10/10 — A Hidden Gem in Ubud! Suki Rice Bowl is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Ubud. From the moment you order to the last bite, everything is incredibly well-executed — this place truly deserves more recognition. The food is absolutely delicious. Every dish bursts with flavor, and you can immediately tell it’s made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portion sizes are generous, making it a perfect value for what you’re getting. Whether it’s the rice bowls or the sushi, there’s a beautiful harmony of textures and flavors that’s rare to find — comforting, balanced, and just the right amount of everything. A huge shoutout to Krishna, the owner, who elevates the experience even further. He’s not only professional, sweet, and kind, but he also goes above and beyond in ensuring that every customer feels taken care of. His energy is calm and positive, and it’s clear he takes pride in every detail — from the food to the packaging to the service. Speaking of packaging, it’s clear that Suki Rice Bowl pays close attention to presentation. The small boxes are perfectly portioned and neatly labeled, especially the sushi orders, which helps a lot when sharing with friends. We even received complimentary spring rolls, which was such a kind and generous touch. Suki Rice Bowl isn’t just a great meal — it’s a full experience. You feel the love and care that goes into each order, and Krishna’s presence adds an extra layer of warmth to it all. Highly recommend to anyone in Ubud looking for something special, consistent, and full of flavor.

When I lived in Ubud, this place became my go-to spot. We came at least three times a week! The food is amazing, super affordable, made with so much care and always consistent. Alin and Kresna provide the kindest, most welcoming service. Everything is amazing but I highly recommend the katsudon rice bowl, absolutely delicious! Can’t recommend this place enough

The katsu roll and peach tea are my favorites. But I don't really like the rice; it tastes too soft, like baby food rolled up in a roll. The portions are large and the price is affordable. The place is quite comfortable. I recommend this place if you crave for affordable sushi roll.

"Japanese street food in Ubud". Sookie Rice bowl restaurant is friendly, attractive, delicious, and a good value. The excellent rice comes with various toppings, and the specialty sushi rolls are complex, attractive and tasty. Sookie is in a new location on Jalan Raya Teges down the road from it's previous. spot.

(Grab order) Taste AMAZING! I know it doesn't look the best, it's hard to make delivery food look good because you can't present it in a go-container. But taste, AMAZING! I've ordered twice since my first order. I hit weights at the gym a bit so I love a simple chicken and rice + meal and they offer extra meat & egg on Grab which not many places do in Bali! Keen for more!

Just tried the new Sooki location in Ubud, and it absolutely lives up to the reputation of their original spot! If you’re a fan of fresh, flavorful Japanese food at a GREAT price, this place is a must. My husband and I shared: * Philly Roll * Katsu Roll * Beef Yakiniku * Chicken Katsudon * Chicken Gyoza * Black Pepper Bowl with extra chicken Everything was delicious—super fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and really generous portions. The rolls were packed and perfectly made, the gyoza had the perfect crisp, and the katsudon was just the kind of comforting dish you crave. The Black Pepper Bowl was a standout, and I love that you can add extra protein—such a great option for those mindful of their intake. Even though the place was full when we arrived, the service was incredibly attentive and the food came out fast. You can tell they care about both the food and the customer experience. This new Sooki location is a fantastic addition to Ubud’s dining scene. Affordable, high-quality Japanese food with top-notch service—what more could you ask for? Highly recommend checking it out!
